Instructions for syncing with VSX-921-K
Because Pioneer's manual is "teh suck," as the kids say, here's how you sync one of these with a VSX-921-K receiver (should work with "lower" models, i.e. VSX-821, but I haven't tested those, so proceed at your own risk):
1. Select "ADAPTER" with either the remote control or input knob (this is what the manual doesn't tell you).
2. Press SHIFT (bottom right-hand corner) on the remote and "TOP MENU" (left corner above the directional buttons in the middle of the remote) at the same time.
3. The numbers "0000" should appear in the receiver display. If you're happy with this as your Bluetooth PIN, press the ENTER button in the middle of the directional section of the remote. "0000" will start blinking. If you'd rather have a different PIN, the left or right arrow buttons will let you choose other pre-programmed PINs.
4. Whip out your iPhone or other Bluetooth smart phone and navigate to the Bluetooth sync page. Sync as you would any BT device.

Pioneer 1020K + iPhone 4s
Bought this adapter monday, shipped and arrived tuesday. Also received the iPhone 4s same day. Setting up is pretty simple (you can refer to the received manual). Basic setup is this:

Device showed up, selected it, and iPod/Pandora/Spotify streamed perfectly to the device.
Walking around with my iPhone caused no distortions of any kind. However I do live in a studio, so I could always be within "range"

I ordered this bluetooth accessory because I hate plugging in aux cords to play music. The piece is a little pricey but honestly, I love it. I have the older (2010 not 2011) Pioneer VSX-520-K receiver and it works great. Pairing it with your device is a pain at first but after the first time you pair a device you'll find out it's actually fairly easy. The music quality is absolutely great. It sounds better than plugging in an RCA cord into your computer/iPod or whatever you are listening to. The few issues are it has a slight lag. If you are watching a video on your computer and playing the sound through your receiver using the bluetooth connector you will pick up on a small sound lag. It can and probably will drive you nuts if you watch enough videos. I'm literally sitting 2 and a half feet away from the AS-BT200 bluetooth and it still has that lag. The other issue is when I'm moving away (with my computer of course) from the AS-BT200 and playing sound or music it breaks up and won't...
